Cosmetic Launch Roundup: November 24-30, 2020

The last week of the month and one of the best weeks for launches I’ve seen this year. There were several collabs to fawn over and, of course, palettes for days so let’s chat about them.

Morphe made 90’s fans’ dreams come true with their collaboration with THE Lisa Frank. The collection features the 35B Artistry palette ($30) in 3 collectible covers, Treat Me Sweet 5-piece beauty sponge set ($19), and Blend Bright 6-piece brush set with a bag ($32). The Morphe x Lisa Frank collection is available on Morphe’s site and in Ulta stores.

Eunique Beauty took inspiration from Japan for their new palette collection. The Fashion Magazine: Japan collection features 3 mini eyeshadow palettes: Vol. 1 is inspired by cherry blossom season, Vol 2 inspired by Japanese traditions, and Vol 3 inspired by Tokyo. The collection costs $66 and is available for preorder online.

Menagerie Cosmetics expanded their blush line with 2 new singles and added 4 shades to the Velvet Matte lipstick line. As for the blushesSatsuki is a hot pink with blue-violet effects and Flowerhorn is a glowy golden peach. The blushes retail for $10 each.

The 4 liquid lipstick newbies are Azalea (rosy pink), Fleur (dusty red), Cornucopia (burnt orange), and Teddy Bear (deep chocolate brown) .Each lipstick is $14.95. All the products are sold on Menagerie’s site.

Colourpop served color galore with the beautiful Fade Into Hue palette. 30 shades spanning the rainbow, this mega palette costs $34 on Colourpop’s site.

Glam Vice added a whopping 15 shades to its popular Retro Liner collection. The new water-activated liner shades are Silk Lavender (metallic lavender), Fairytale (satin pink), Hard Candy (satin pink/purple), Lemon Drop (metallic yellow), Vintage Pink (matte pastel pink), Sour Apple (matte deep green), Lemon Lush (matte yellow), Mango Sunrise (matte orange), Miami Beach (UV neon green), Mint Mojito (metallic lime green), Glazed Peach (metallic peach), Sugary Apple (metallic dark red), Ocean Drive (UV neon magenta), Total Babe (UV neon coral), and Graphite (matte gray). Each liner costs $8 online.

Beauty Creations revamped one of its popular princess palettes. Jasmine now has prettier packaging and gorgeous jewel-toned shades, making it a must-have for your collection. Jasmine is $19 on Beauty Creations’ site and there is a PR box option for $24.

Give Me Glow Cosmetics launched the Sweet and Sticky palette on Black Friday. The 6 pan palette is a neutral-toned dream, inspired by cinnamon buns. You can get the palette on Give Me Glow’s site for $30.

Makeup Depot USA is back with a new eyeshadow palette. The White Book has 35 muted shades and costs $14 online.

E.l.f Cosmetics launched new liquid eyeshadows. The Liquid Metallic Eyeshadows come in 8 shades (Galaxy, Moon, Supernova, Comet, Aurora, Little Dipper, Meteor, Big Dipper) and retail for $5. You can grab your favorite shades on Elf’s website.

Lurella Cosmetics added 2 new colors to the liquid eyeliner fam. Scarlet and Emerald are $8 on Lurella’s site.

Black Moon Cosmetics gave bullet lipsticks a major upgrade. The brand introduced their Sinister Satin lipsticks, 9 luscious shades to make a statement. The shade names are: Dracula (red), The Fog (purple), Hellraiser (blue), Greta (metallic green), Omen (jet black), Misery (taupe nude), Trick or Treat (burnt orange), Werewolf (dark brown), and Elm Street (burgundy)/ Each lipstick is $18 (bundled for $145) and comes in a coffin package. These lipsticks are sold online.

Gourmande Girls Cosmetics released its first collaboration with Christa Rice and gave us the Spectra palette. The 20-pan palette mixes nudes, neutrals, and pops of color for a well-rounded palette. Spectra is $33 on Gourmande’s site.

Laced With Cherry yearned for spring with the Crowned Fairies collection. This vibrant collection includes 5 Lit Gloss shades ($9.99 each), an 18-pan palette ($27.99), 4 lash styles ($9.99 each), and two glitter stacks (Snow Fairy and Love Fairy; $14.99 each). There are two bundle options as well; the Mini Crowned Fairies bundle includes a mirror, the palette, and lip gloss ($31) while the Crowned Fairies Large Box includes everything ($99). Crowned Fairies is sold exclusively online.

Euphoric Sun launched 3 new palettes in time for Black Friday and the upcoming Yuletide season. Blushing Bunny ($16) is a 9-pan warm toned palette perfect for pinkish yet neutral looks. Neutral Cappuccino ($16) is 12 shades of neutrals and nudes. Christmas Bunny ($15) has 9-pans of greens and pop of glitter perfect for Christmas. All three palettes are sold on Euphoric Sun’s site.

Prettyhearts Cosmetics drew inspiration from fairy tales for the breathtaking Cottage Garden palette. The 9 colors are beautifully reminiscent of spring and the artwork, a collaboration with digital artist Aimee Rose, was very well done. Cottage Garden is $26 on Prettyhearts’ website.

Moya Beauty is a newly launched black-owned brand, making its debut on November 24th. The starting inventory is the Ride or Die palette ($20), Classic lip gloss (clear; $9), The Don lip gloss (brown; $9), Hydrating lip oil ($7), and MB Eyebrow Dip ($12). All of the products are sold on Moya Beauty’s site.
