Cosmetic Launch Roundup: April 1-8, 2024

Kara Beauty delivered the most adorable and paw-sitive collection yet with two new palettes. Pardon My Frenchie draws on classic French looks with a color story of pinks, soft blues, greens, and white. Paw’llywood Forever is a vibrant assortment of hues ranging from pinks to blues to neutral shades. Each palette is $12 on Kara Beauty’s website.

Alter Ego drew inspiration from the beauty of nature for its 15-pan Wildwood palette. This earthy palette has the prettiest hues of greens, oranges, yellows, and browns for soft glam looks. Wildwood is $22 on Alter Ego’s site.

Beauty Moon Cosmetics revitalized the formula of its mascara and crafted the 4D Lash Lengthening Waterproof Mascara. This new mascara gives lashes a thick and luscious appearance with bold length. Grab the mascara for £8 / US $10 on Beauty Moon’s website.

Wyn Beauty finally launched, bringing sports fans and makeup lovers together. The brand founded by Serena Williams released a slew of products, all contained within packaging inspired by tennis balls. The Big Vision Mascara ($19), No Words Needed Lip Serum ($18), Glideline Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner ($21), Glideline Longwear Eye Pencil ($19), MVP Lip & Cheek Colors (8 shades; $21 each), Taking Shape Brow Shading Pencils (3 shades; $19 each), Word of Mouth Matte Lipsticks (10 shades; $20 each), Nothing To See Soft Matte Creamy Concealers (20 shades; $20 each), Say Everything Featherweight Lipsticks (10 shades; $20 each), and Featuring You Hydrating Skin Enhancing Tint (36 shades; $29 each). Cxc Beauty had fans choose a side between the gorgeous Sweet Dream and Beautiful Nightmare palettes. Sweet Dream is a playful color story with pink and yellow hues while Beautiful Nightmare is an eerie counterpart with its sultry blue and pink shades. There are several variations to choose from. The large palettes ($59 each) come in either black or white packaging. The 9-pan mini palettes are $29 each and vary slightly; Sweet Dream comes in white, black, or peach packaging while Beautiful Nightmare has black, white, or lavender packaging. Bella Jay’s Lashes aided lash journeys for makeup addicts everywhere with the Lash Growth Serum. This oil-based serum helps lashes grow longer and stronger with health being a major focus. The Lash Growth Serum is $12 on Bella Jay’s Lashes’ website.

Psychotic Cosmetics added 5 breathtaking wispy lash styles to its repertoire. Diamonique (silver glitter spikes with white highlights), Queen of Mars (pink and red glitter spikes with red highlights), Emerald City (green glitter spikes and green highlights), Robo Pink (pink and silver glitter spikes and pink highlights), and Seapunk (pink glitter spikes and blue highlights) are $7 each on Psychotic Cosmetics’ website.

Beauty Bay made cheeks glisten with the fantastic Liquid Highlighter collection. The three shades feature an ultra-creamy formula infused with color-shifting, pearlescent pigment for a beaming finish. Disco (iridescent pink and gold), Pearl (creamy champagne gold), and Quartz (soft rose gold) are US $11 each (bundled for US $33) online.

Elogical Cosmetics delivered whimsical vibes by introducing its Freak Show eyeshadow palette and 2 Lip Kits. Freak Show ($20) is 9 shades of cool-toned neutral hues culminating in a perfect smokey eye. The two lip kits are Vamp Red and Black Out ($14 each). Each kit includes a matte lipstick and a gloss. Makeup A Murder added a chillingly beautiful palette to its Love Sick Liner palette collection. Cold Hearted is a blue monochromatic palette with 6 shades in a split-liner format. You can get Cold Hearted on Makeup A Murder’s website for $15.

Absolute New York released the perfect brush set for amateurs and professionals alike. The Pro Brush collection has 18 brushes for every facet of the application process; face brushes (powder, foundation, concealer, etc) and eye brushes (blending, buffing, smudging, etc). The brushes range from $2.99 to $5.99 on Absolute New York’s website.

Catrice Cosmetics officially welcomed spring with the warm-toned Seeking Flowers collection. Inspired by the Pantone color of 2024 (peach fuzz) and soft lilac, this charming collection features an Eyeshadow Palette ($8), 3 Hydrating Lip Stains ($5 each), a Hydrating Lip Mask ($6), 2 Blush & Brush Sticks ($8 each), and 2 Cream-to-Powder Highlighters ($6 each). Makeup Toyz Cosmetics embodied the vivacity and diverse culture of Trinidad and Tobago with the stunning Festival of Colours palette. Byoma crafted the perfect remedy for rough, bumpy skin with its Smoothing Body products. The Smoothing Body Polish ($12.99) combines a blend of prebiotic complex, panthenol, and PHA to soothe irritated and textured skin while retaining moisture. The Smoothing Body Serum ($13.99) targets blemishes and soothes skin sensitivity for even texture. Both products are available online and at Target stores.

Wet N Wild Beauty boldly asked a dangerously coquettish question with the Date or Dominate collection. This seductive collection includes the Voluminizing Mascara & Liner set ($8.99), 2 Liquid Eyeshadows ($6.99 each), 2 Lipstick & Liner sets ($7.99 each), Lengthening Mascara & Eyelash Curler set ($8.99), 2 Eyeshadow Quads ($6.99 each), Blush & Brush set ($7.99), and 2 Multistick Sets ($9.99 each). The Date or Dominate collection is sold on Wet N Wild’s website and at Walmart stores.

Menagerie Cosmetics introduced four new shades for its Soft Matte Arthurine Blush lineup. These luxurious blushes blend seamlessly into the skin with a velvety finish and buildable pigment. Galah (soft peachy pink), Kangaroo (cool mauve), Cocoa Bear (cool brown), and Clementine (warm terracotta) are $15 each on Menagerie Cosmetics’ website.
