Cosmetic Launch Roundup: January 1-15, 2023

Cxc Beauty took a deep dive into the anatomy of makeup application with the gorgeous X-Ray collection. This collection features the X-Ray palette ($59) with an option of packaging (black or white), 3 Liquid Lipsticks ($17 each), Cheeky Blush ($28), Transcendence Highlighter ($28), and two collection bundles ($149; white or black packaging). Yinnabelle Beauty blended the magic of winter and the romance of Valentine’s Day into the breathtaking Romance Love Story palette. The 16-pan palette is a mix of chic blues, lively reds, and earthy neutrals to inspire many types of looks. Romance Love Story is $30 on Yinnabelle’s site.

Oden’s Eye Cosmetics entranced fans with the Jewel Shine collection. This dazzling single eyeshadows collection features 30 shimmer shadows ($6.90 each), 12 multichromes ($14.90), single eyeshadow containers ($2.90 each), a multichrome shadow bundle ($143), and a shimmer shadow bundle ($165). Cloudy Sugar Lips sang its praises of anime with the Vocaloid Inspired collection. Adorable is the perfect word to describe the 2 Blushes (Pop Star and Virtual Singer; $8.99 each), Future Sound Highlighter ($9.99), Night Fever palette ($20.99), Leek Princess palette ($20.99), and Electric Angel Eyeliner ($12.99). Ucanbe Cosmetics waltzed into 2023 with pastel packaging and sultry lipsticks with the Dream and Maccaron set. The liquid lipstick collection includes 8 beautiful shades and has an affordable price tag of only $12.99 on Ucanbe’s site.

Kara Beauty took inspiration from the cosmos and created the Planet Series. There are two palettes (so far) in the collection; Planetary Divine is a whimsical blend of purples, blues, and golds while Stellar Starburst is a bold assortment of greens, oranges, and oranges. Playing In Makeup By Yolondo made complexions appear flawless with the Evanesce Soft Matte Cream Concealer lineup. There are 19 shades across the three undertones (warm, cool, and neutral) so you can find your perfect shade. Grab your concealer for $27.99 online.

Colourpop started the year with a collaboration with the popular fairy series Winx Club. Colourpop x Winx Club features the pastel Just Like Magix palette ($24), Crystal Face Jewel set ($10), Enchantix Glitter Gel ($10), 3 Lite Stix ($11 each), 6 Ultra Glossy Lips ($10 each), and a full collection bundle ($125). Then the permanent Lux Lipstick collection dropped, 30 shades ranging from bashful nudes to sultry reds and deeper colors. You can pick your favorite shades for $10 each or 3-piece sets for $27 online.

Pacifica Beauty expanded its Glow Baby skincare lineup with several more products. The Brightening Setting Mist ($18) hydrates skin and gives a radiant glow. Brightening Facial Mask ($4) is a serum-infused sheet mask that you can wear as you relax after a long day. The Super Lit SPF Lotion ($20) is a mineral sunscreen that protects skin from harmful UV rays and brings out your inner glow. The Hydrodew Moisture Gel ($18) improves skin texture and hydrates skin. Beauty Creations collaborated with The Creme Shop on the sweet Disney Bundle. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, the bundle includes a Minnie Mouse Dome Travel Pouch, Disney Around The World palette, Ruby Glitz 3D Teddy Headband, a Mickey Mouse Blending Sponge, Cream Blush Balm, and a Dual-ended Eyeliner Stamp, all for $75 on BC’s site.

Jcat Beauty crafted three more mouthwatering shades of its You Glow Girl Baked Highlighters. The newbies are Solstice Beam (bronzey gold), Seaside Frost (light gold), and Crimson Gleam (pink champagne). Each shade is $9.99 on Jcat Beauty’s website.

Peachy Queen Cosmetics gave us chrome realness with its Duo Chrome Eyeshadow Pots. The seven stunning shades effortlessly shift colors, taking any eye look to the next level. Serendipity, Mellifluous, Sumptuous, Aurora, Dalliance, Galactic, and Labyrinthe are $13.99 each on Peachy Queen’s site.

Glisten Cosmetics gave lips the spotlight with the new and improved Glis Glosses. The new coquettish moisturizing shades are Pinky Promise, Purple Hill, Mocha, Dream Catcher, Hello Holo, Cherry Bomb, Liquorice, Jewels, and Tangerine Dream. Each shade is $15 online.

Tres Luce Beauty defined pouts with the Empower Me Matte Lipsticks and Draw the Linea Dual-Sided Lip Liners. The lipsticks ($16 each) have a creamy formula and hydrate the lips, coming in 6 colors. The 6 lip liners ($12 each) have two shades per pencil as they are dual-ended, allowing several lip combos. You can mix and match shades from Tres Luce Beauty’s website.

Ioni Cosmetics invited us to its Lash Garden, a sumptuous collection of falsies. There are 14 lash pairs ($1.25 each), from natural to wispy to dramatic, suiting any aesthetic. There are two lash adhesives as well. You can find the collection in Dollar Tree stores.

Moira Beauty fluttered in with the Natural Effect Bionic Lashes and Serum Primers. First, the lash collection features 20 styles, from natural to dramatic, each retailing for $6. Then the two primers debuted; Hydrating Plump primer revitalizes the skin and preps it for makeup application while the Dew You primer improves skin glow and protects it. Each primer is $14. Curst Kosmetics conjured up complexion-perfecting Moon Powders and Spellcasting Multichrome Liquid Eyeshadows. The Moon Powders minimize the appearance of pores and smoothes the texture of your skin. There are 7 shades to choose from, $18.99 each.

The liquid eyeshadows come in four lustrous shades; Enchantment (teal/blue/purple shift), Bruja (green/purple/blue shift), Hocus Pocus (purple/gold/green shift), and Abracadabra (pink/gold/green shift). Each shadow is $22.99. All products are up for grabs on Curst Kosmetics’ site.

Prolux Cosmetics dropped two eye products; Matte Felt Tip Liner and Voluminous Waterproof Mascara. The eyeliner ($2.99) offers precise application and you can choose between pink and mint packaging. The mascara ($2.99) gives drama and length to lashes, making them appear as if you wore falsies. Both products are available online.

Bebella Cosmetics turned every day into a dream with the Angelic collection. The heaven-sent collection includes the Angelic eyeshadow and face palette ($16), Kissed By An Angel Lip Trio ($14), Angel Setting Mist ($7), and PR Box ($35). Get the collection on Bebella’s website.

Kaima Cosmetics released a new pressed pigment, this one a mouthwatering pink-to-gold shift. Holo Rose is $11 on Kaima’s website.

Sheglam is ready for Valentine’s Day as shown with its Love Dive collection. The romantic collection features 4 Tender Heart Blushes ($4.99 each), MATTEly In Love Pressed Powder ($6.49), At First Sight Moisturizing Primer ($7.49), So Devoted Liquid Mousse Lipstick set ($9.99), So Smitten Gloss set ($9.99), and full collection set ($53.99). Elogical Cosmetics dropped the anime-inspired Manga Lash Set. The lash book includes 5 hot lash styles, making looks range from natural to flirty to eye-catching. You can get the set for $30 on Elogical’s site.

Profusion Cosmetics elevated the chrome trend to the next level with the Metachrome collection. This chic collection includes the 25-shade Metachrome palette ($15), Meta Lashes set ($15), Technoliners 3-piece Duochrome Liner set ($10), 2 Duochromatica Multichrome Pigment and Primers ($15 each), and Glitter Glitch Holo Brow Gel and Gems ($7). E.l.f Cosmetics felt the love for its Lip Lacquers so it added four new shades. The new fabulous shades are Orange Blossom, Cherry Bomb, Whisper Pink, and Black Cherry. Each lacquer is $3 online.

Made By Mitchell came through with new eye brushes, making eyeshadow application easier. The Pro Brush Bundle includes 12 brushes from detail to blending. Find the bundle on Made By Mitchell’s site for $100.
