Cosmetic Launch Roundup: June 1-8, 2022

Morphe released its annual Pride collection with 100% of the proceeds going to the Trevor Project. Made With Pride features the 9N Love Shines palette ($13), 9Q Love Matters palette ($13), Face & Body Gems ($8), and 5-piece Eyebrush Set ($26). Get proud with the collection, available on Morphe’s website and in Morphe stores.

BPerfect Cosmetics kicked off its Pride celebrations with a stunning palette created in collaboration with Scottish makeup artist Lord Chyna. The Taboo palette is an edgy, 15-pan palette with a rainbow color story and chic packaging. Taboo is $29.95 USD on BPerfect’s site.

Aisuri Beauty stayed busy and creative with several eyeshadow palettes. The Kamisama Kiss palette is a fierce palette inspired by the shoujo anime Kamisama Hajimemashita. The 6-pan palette has six fiery shades and retails for $18.99.

The next two palettes are additions to the Mini collection. First was the Strongest Soldier, inspired by Levi Ackerman from Attack On Titan. The color story is (in my opinion) military-glam with its greens and golds. Shinigami Eyes is inspired by Death Note and the shades certainly reflect the darker-natured anime, its grungy colors being utterly beautiful. The two mini palettes are $14.99 each and all three palettes are available on Aisuri Beauty’s website.

Mintty Makeup showed its pride with a tribute to the trans community. The EmpowerMintt Prideshadow quad palettes have packaging featuring the trans flag and there are 2 color stories; one palette is blue and the other is pink. Whichever color you choose to rock, the palettes are $24.99 each online.

Aboni Cosmetics, after months of teasing, finally dropped 2 of its Classic Lipsticks. Beautiful Nightmare is a sultry russet color and Sangria is a bold pink. Each shade is $12 on Aboni’s website.

Profusion Cosmetics spent quality time watering its garden and the result is the Superbloom collection. There are two palettes (Ethereal and Harvest; $10 each), 4 Blooming Matte Eye Paints ($4 each), 2 Full Bloom Cream Blushes ($4 each), 2 Lip Bouquet Velvet Matte duos ($5 each), 2 Luminous Glow Liquid Highlighters ($5 each), and 3D Faux Mink Lashes ($4). Everything is available online.

Moira Beauty made color correcting easier with the Set and Correct Finishing Powders. These powders come in four versions to suit each skin tone; 100 (Fair), 200 (light), 300 (medium), and 400 (deep). Each shade in the compact is complementary and corrects uneven skin tone and brightens the skin. You can pick your powder for $15 on Moira’s site.

Cake N’ Bake Cosmetics released its scrumptious Chocolate collection. The spread includes the Chocolate eyeshadow palette ($24.99), 2 Lipglosses (Milk Chocolate and Strawberry Cocoa; $5.25 each), 4 Glitters ($2.50 each), Candy Land perfume ($4.99), and Mystery Candy Earrings ($5) plus a full collection bundle ($47.99). The chocolate collection is available online.
