The indie scene is picking up steam with gorgeous collections sprouting up this week. There’s a lot of brands to talk about so grab a snack and enjoy.
Kara Beauty kicked off the new year with plant inspiration, as seen with the Botanical Collection. This beautiful collection features 3 eyeshadow palettes: Wildflower (coral shades), With You (neutrals), and Daydream (earthy shades). Each palette is $11.99 or you can grab the bundle for $30 on Kara’s site.

Midas Cosmetics dropped a cool-toned eyeshadow collection, Unveiled. There are two 9-pan palettes for versatile looks, Berry Nude (berry shades) and Cool Nudes (neutrals). Both palettes are $18 and there is a bundle for $32 on Midas’ website.


Pinky Rose Cosmetics asked us to categorize ourselves with poppin’ Cali Vibe collection. There are two 9-piece eye brush + mirror sets, Angel Baby and Mamacita plus the Babygirl mirror. Angel Baby has a sultry black mirror and black handled brushes while Mamacita is a fiery red brush set and matching mirror. The brush sets are $26 each, mirrors are $10 each, PR sets are $36 (includes the brush set and bandanna bear), and the Ultimate PR sets are $42 (bear, brushes, and mirror). Meera Beauty is a new brand on the Roundup but debuted with baddie vibes. The brand launched the Bloodline collection, featuring three stunning eyeshadow palettes based on different cultures and countries. Kolwezi Queen is inspired by the Democratic Republic of Congo, Beijing Baddie inspired by China, and Bombay Baby inspired by India. All three palettes are $25 each or bundled for $70 online.



Colourpop Cosmetics released two collections this week. First up was the Lunar New Year collection, celebrating the Year of the Ox. This collection contains 2 curated palettes (Lucky Ox and Get That Coin; $15 each or $26 bundle), Light My Firecracker lippie stix kit ($20 or $7 individual stix), Lantern Fest Super Shock highlighter ($10), Vanilla Pearl overnight lip mask ($10), Golden Pearl Shimmering dry oil ($10), Lip & Cheek set ($29), Eye & Cheek set ($22) or the entire collection for $68.

Then Colourpop satiated our sweet tooths with the Cotton Candy collection. This pretty-in-pink collection includes the Cloud Spun palette ($12), Candy Melts lippie stix set ($18 or three $7 individual sticks), 3 Pressed Powder blushes (Taffy Swirls, Take the Cake and Truffle Shuffle, $8 each), 3 So Juicy plumping glosses ($8 each), Gummy Yummy gel liner set ($10), Candy Floss marbled super shock highlighter ($10), or the full collection ($75). Both collections are available on Colourpop’s site.

Black Radiance introduced 4 face primers for a flawless base regardless of skin needs. The four primers are Matte & Poreless, Dewy & Luminous, Long-lasting & Toning, and Hydrate & Blur. You can pick your primer of choice for $5.79 online.

Prettyhearts Cosmetics went into full creative mode with four stunning palettes. Written In The Stars features two glitter quads, $13 each. Cat Lovers is a 9-pan palette with bronzer, highlight, blush, and eyeshadow shades, all for $26. Last but certainly not least is the Made with Love palette, a 15-pan matte eyeshadow palette ($26). All four palettes are sold exclusively on Prettyhearts’ website.



Bella Vida Lashes is a freshly launched brand with four stunning pairs of false lashes. Boho-Soul is a flirty but natural lash style. Babygirl is a wispy lash perfect for glam looks. Bossy is a flashy and bold lash. Bella is that flirty lash for going out on the town. All four lash styles are $11.99 on Bella Vida’s site.




Give Me Glow Cosmetics released three pressed pigments they eagerly perfected. Electric Unicorn is a pastel multichrome shade ($22), Roses Remix is a lustrous rose gold ($10), and Glamorous is a golden champagne ($10). All three shades are sold online.

Essence Cosmetics launched its first foundation! The Pretty Natural Hydrating Foundation is available in 31 shades, $6.99 each, and is currently sold on Ulta’s site (15 shades) and in-store (12 shades) with the full shade range hitting Essence’s site in February.

Milani Cosmetics unleashed 5 primers infused with ingredients that skin loves. Chill Out blurs imperfections and soothes the skin with a satin-matte finish. Bright Side brightens and give skin a healthy glow. SPF BFF is infused with SPF 30 sunscreen to protect and nourish. No Pore Zone is for oily skin and mattifies the skin. Skin Quench Primer hydrates and moisturizes. Each primer is $10.99 on Milani’s site.

Questa Cosmetics is giving spring/summer vibes with the Sunset Paradise palette. The 35-pan palette is a warm-toned dream for recreating those mystical summer sunsets. Sunset Paradise retails for $26.99 online.

Juvia’s Place added another influencer collab to the list with the Juvia’s Place x Vanessa collection. Vanessa Gyimah created a 6-pan eyeshadow palette ($15) and 2 lip glosses (Legit Nude and Naomi, $10 each). The full collab set is $39 and you can grab everything on Juvia’s site.


Morphe came through with the gorgeous Sweet Oasis collection. The 35-pan Sweet Oasis Artistry palette ($25) is a whole summer vibe. Then the collection is rounded out with the lip gloss trio ($16) of Tipsy (shimmery golden pink), Shimmy (shimmery apricot), and Groupie (warm rose) and the eye brush set ($20). Everything is sold on Morphe’s site and will be in Ulta stores starting in February.

Amor Us stayed with lip products this week with the Velvety Kiss Matte liquid lipstick collection. This collection is perfect for Valentine’s Day coming up, with 8 shades at $6 each, color sets ($20 each), or the full set for $40. The lipsticks are available on Amor Us’ site.

Mamacita Cosmetics is fully prepared for Valentine’s Day. The brand launched several Valentine’s bundles: Bundle #1 ($25) features a cute mailbox containing 3 pairs of lashes and some treats, Bundle #2 ($35) features a V-day box with four pairs of lashes and a gloss plus treats, and Bundle #3 ($50) includes an eyeshadow palette of your choice plus 2 pairs of lashes and lash adhesive liner and candy. If the bundles weren’t enough, Mamacita also launched the 24-pan Glitter Glam eyeshadow palette ($35). Get your treats on Mamacita’s website.


Million Dollash is another new brand on the Roundup and had to be featured with their Love Affair collection. This enchanting collection includes the Love Affair eyeshadow palette and your choice of two lash styles (Lust & Romance or Amour & Pleasure). Start your love affair for $45 online.
