I wanted to start this post by acknowledging the pandemic known as COVID-19/Coronavirus. It is disheartening to read and see news about this virus so I want to continue to (hopefully) take your mind off the stress and just relax for a couple minutes. Makeup is a good distraction so, with that in mind, here are the launches for the first week of March.
Milani felt a bit mischievous and gave us the Ludicrous Lights Collection. Included in the 3 eye toppers ($11 each), 3 duo-chrome highlighters ($11 each), and the brand collaborated with Ally Brooke (Fifth Harmony) to create the 3 lip glosses ($9 each). To make it easier (and cheaper), Milani added a “create your own bundle” option for $24. Everything is up for grabs online or at Ulta.
Prolux Cosmetics is a newbie to the Roundup but what a way to make an entrance than to reveal the stunning Miami palette. Exploding with color, Miami contains 42 shades to enhance your creativity. Available online for $21.
Colourpop is going in another direction with this week’s launch and focused on helping us blend makeup perfectly with blending sponges. There are five sponges ($7 individually) or you can get all five in The Full Beat Kit ($20). Available on Colourpop’s site.
Amor Us is taking us on an exotic trip with the Havana Blast palette. 32 vibrant shades combined in a beautiful color story, all for $15 (#yasss). Cop the drop on the brand’s website.
Pacifica Beauty launched its Pore Warrior system to help clear clogged pores and fight/prevent breakouts. The system features four products: Pore Warrior Soft Scrub ($12), Acne Defense Face Wash ($10), Acne Warrior Clearing Astringent ($12), and Dry It Out Acne Gel Spot Treatment ($10). Pore Warrior is available on Pacifica’s site and in Ulta stores.
Bella Forever Cosmetics is ready for spring and it shows with the latest palette, Metamorphosis. This 63-pan palette features mattes, shimmers, and pressed glitters, all for $16! Metamorphosis is available online.
Moira Cosmetics extended their After Party Matte Lip Crayons with six new shades, bringing the total to 24. The new shades are Happy Hour, Last Call, Hello DJ, Funky Music, Rock N’ Roll, and Party Shots. Each crayon costs $6 and is up for grabs on Moira’s site.
Profusion is prepping for the upcoming festival season with the Neon Festival collection. The limited-edition collection includes four eyeshadow palettes; Electric Blues, Yellow Fusion, Upbeat Orange, and Banging Pinks. Each palette is only $5 and available on Profusion’s website or at Target.
BH Cosmetics dropped two palettes to celebrate the upcoming spring season. Colori Vivaci is all about color with 16 mouthwatering shades. The other palette, Romantic Nomad, speaks of pastel dreams with hints of earthy tones. Both palettes are $12 and are available online and at Ulta.
Revlon is all about matte with 24 shades of the Super Lustrous lipstick line, The Luscious Mattes. Ranging from sultry purple to blushing pink, there is a color for every occasion. The Luscious Mattes are available at Target ($6 each), CVS ($8.79 each), and on Ulta’s website ($8.49 each).
