Autumn is growing ever closer and coffee fans are already swarming Starbucks for their Pumpkin Spice Lattes. This is my favorite season; candles come out as the days turn grey… Anyway, this week saw a fair mix of drugstore and indie brands.
Zoeva Cosmetics, shortly after announcing their venture into Ulta stores, has launched 44 shades of a luminous foundation called Authentik. This foundation costs $28 and is available on Zoeva’s site or you can wait until September 9th when Authentik hits retail shelves.
Mocha Cosmetics is a newbie to the blog but I couldn’t resist sharing this launch with you. The brand launched the 25 Color Rainbow palette ($28) with tons of color (and pigmentation!) to create a myriad of looks. You can find the palette here.
L.A Girl will help keep hydrated through the cool, crisp weather with the Lip Attraction Lipsticks. 10 luxurious shades, these lipsticks also add a glossy effect to lips and cost $6 each. Grab your favorite shade (or shades) on LA Girl’s site.
Essence Cosmetics has been busy; a collaboration with Ulta plus another addition to the City palettes. First off, Essence teamed up with Ulta to create the Girls United collection, exclusively sold at Ulta. The collection includes a 12-pan eyeshadow palette ($20), high-shine lip gloss (4 colors; $10 each), highlighting sticks (2 shades; $10 each), and a cosmetic bag ($15). Everything is available in Ulta stores or online.
The second launch is the Sawasdee Bangkok palette, the fifth palette in the brand’s City collection. There are 9 shades and the palette costs $10 on Essence’s site.
Colourpop has got a couple of collabs for us this week. To kick things off, the brand launched curated sets by two beauty Youtubers, Thatgirlshaexo (love her!) and MakeupbyJesi. Shae’s set is Rose-themed and inspired by her impending nuptials; the set includes Ultra Femme lip bundle, Rose Romance super shock shadow bundle, and the One Pigment Forever bundle. Shae’s set is $50.
MakeupbyJesi’s set has me buzzing (get it?) and features the Jess Shade lip bundle and the Forget Me Not super shock shadow bundle. Grab Jesi’s set for $32.
Then Colourpop dropped the news that a new palette by Kathleen Lights would be launched on September 6th! The So Jaded palette is the first ever 30 pan palette by Colourpop and Kathleen picked gorgeous shimmers and marvelous mattes for a stunning palette. So Jaded costs $39.
Mamacita Cosmetics must have a lot of coffee on hand because of these constant launches. This week the brand has neon pigments for us! The pigments are available in 7 shades (the rainbow basically) and sold as a stack for $25 on Mamacita’s site.
Profusion is serving desert vibes with the Mirage palette. This warm-toned dream features 35 shades, all for $13. Mirage is available on Profusion’s site or in Target stores.
Moira Beauty has been launching products back to back and this week proved nothing has changed. There are three palettes arriving on September 6th as the additions to the popular Fairytales collection. The new palettes are called Midnight Whispers, Like A Melody, and A Dash of Gold. The palettes can be purchased online for $16 each.
Zodiac Cosmetics now has beauty sponges! The Cloud Soft 3-piece Beauty Sponge contains three sponges (small, medium, and large) for only $8! You can grab a set on the brand’s site.
BH Cosmetics obviously can’t wait for autumn either since their new palette has all the colors for the season. The Golden Twilight has 16 shades, most are neutral with a few bursts of color and costs $12. Golden Twilight is live on BH’s site.
Docolor finally launched their collaboration with MUA Fany Garay. The Divas lipstick collection is a set 5 lipsticks (3 nudes, 2 red) for $34.99. The lipsticks are available on Docolor’s site.
