This week is definitely the week of palettes and celebrations. Colourpop is turning 5, Kara Beauty extended its Pro line, and many other launches you need to know are all done below. Happy reading!
Makeup Revolution had a big week. First the brand announced their collaboration with Rachel Leary, a UK-based beauty influencer (I love her videos!). Rachel created two palettes, Goddess On The Go ($15), which is the palette to take when you travel, and Ultimate Goddess ($20) which sits on your vanity everyday.
Then the brand dropped their Maxi Reloaded palettes. These are basically their bestselling Reloaded palettes combined (all Newtrals; Iconic and Velvet Rose together) but with more colors. There are 4 palettes, each costing $18. All of the Makeup Revolution products are on their website but Rachel’s palettes will be in Ulta stores on June 23.
“Monster Mattes” “Large It Up”
“Big Big Love” “Dream Big”
Morphe is giving us the color that we need. The 39S Such a Gem is THE purple themed palette of the summer; 39 shades and costs $35. You can either purchase one online or, like me, wait until the palette hits Ulta stores.
Colourpop’s official birthday theme is watermelon and what better way to showcase it than a full collection? The collection features an eyeshadow palette (Main Squeeze; $12), an Ultra Matte lipstick (Melonade; $7), a So Juicy gloss (Big Slice; $7), 4 lip bundles ($12 each), or all the full collection for $145.
Then a surprise launch on May 23rd revealed the Blue Moon which is obviously a blue themed palette. Blue Moon costs $12 and I’m hoping it appears in Ulta soon… Every product mentioned is available on Colourpop’s site.
Kara Beauty launched 4 new palettes in their PRO line. Each palette is $25 and each has beautiful rose gold or gold packaging. The four palettes are Golden Tropics, Berry Burst, Sunset Rush, and Private Island. You can find all four palettes on Kara Beauty’s site.
“Private Island” “Golden Tropics”
“Sunset Rush” “Berry Burst”
Her Mannerisms has given us glow with their Lucid Dream highlighters. Three colors (1 for each skin tone) and you can buy them as a set for $40 or individually for $19. These beauties are available on the brand’s site.
Fourth Ray Beauty launched a watermelon face milk to celebrate their “sister brand” Colourpop’s birthday. The Watermelon Face Milk hydrates skin and helps soften textured skin. You can grab one for $10 online.
W7 Cosmetics is back with the Socialite palette which is a dupe of Huda Beauty’s “Nude” palette. Socialite is available for pre-order on the UK site for $12.
Rude Cosmetics launched the sister palette of Au Naturel and C’est Fantastique, C’est La Vie. Like its sisters, the palette features 35 shades and costs $19. C’est La Vie is available only on Rude’s site.
Juvia’s Place is finally launching their highly-anticipated complexion products. The I Am Magic collection features 42 shades of foundation ($20 each) and 24 concealers ($14). Available on May 20th on Juvia’s site.
BH Cosmetics expanded their ever-popular Take Me Back to Brazil collection with a 10-piece brush set ($26), 4-piece glitter set ($19), and 3 lash styles ($10 each). The collection is available online and will be in Ulta Stores in June.
Ccolor Cosmetics has finally released their dupe of Urban Decay’s Naked Cherry. Cherry costs $10.50 and is available online.
Alter Ego is launching their second palette, called Goddess, on May 23. The palette is a dupe of the Natasha Denona “Gold” palette. Goddess costs $16 and is available online starting May 23rd!
Nyx Cosmetics has a new palette, created in collaboration with Aquaria of RuPaul Drag Race fame. The Aquaria palette has 10 shades and is available for pre-order at $25, online only!
Boujee Babe Cosmetics finally launched and has added even more glitters to their inventory. These fine glitters cost only $4.50 each and I am eyeing the shade Glass Slipper.
IBY Beauty… I have been waiting for another palette from this indie brand and they did not disappoint. Ocean Awakening is that palette that transports you to the beach, looking at ocean and the beautiful sunset… Anyway, the palette contains 20 shades and costs $38. A little costly but worth it for the color story! You can grab Ocean Awakening on IBY’s site.
