The second week of March and the indies are out in full force. I’m thrilled that the smaller brands are getting recognition; the bigger brands are basically copying each other. Without further ado, let’s get to the makeup.
Sparrow Cosmetics are releasing a line of highlighters called Vacation. There are four highlighters in the collection; Nova Scotia, Northern Lights, Paris, and Rome. The Vacation collection launches on March 15th.
Wispy Winks is the new indie brand on the block (and the Roundup) but this UK-based indie brand is going places. Starting out with false lashes, the brand just launched cosmetic glitters, each costing $4. The glitters are affectionately called Glam Glitters and there are 16 shades to choose from. You can grab the Glam Glitters on Wispy Winks’ site.
Colourpop is launching a full spring collection! The Spring 2019 collection includes 6 Crème Lux lipsticks ($8 each), 6 jelly eyeshadows ($8 each), 6 Super Shock blushes ($8 each), and an eyeshadow palette (Sweet Talk; $18) that also features the cult favorite Super Shock Shadows. There is a bundle option but is looking to be a little spendy at $127.20 but I’m sure there are some of you who love Colourpop and could possibly spend that much. The Spring 2019 collection launches March 14th!
Amor Us is launching products almost every week and this time the brand is serving a new formula. The Jelly Shot jelly eyeshadows launched on March 11th, come in 6 shades, and cost $5 each. These shadows are only available on Amor Us’ website.
