Hey, it’s been awhile! I’ve been busy with school and personal issues but I am so excited to be back with new content. I have lots of stuff planned for The Trendy Wallet and my Youtube channel is now live. Anyways, let’s talk the latest makeup.
Colourpop’s first collaboration of 2019 is with (who else?) Kathleen Lights. Kathleen is really into astrology so it’s no surprise that this new collaboration is based on zodiac. The Zodiac Loose Pigments are available on Colourpop’s site for $6 each or you can buy the entire collection, composed of 12 shades, for $70. All of the colors fit the zodiac sign it is representing and if you want to see great swatches, check out ThatGirlShaexo’s video.
Maybelline is teaming up with athletic clothing company Puma to create a line of makeup that’s suited for the gym. Featuring a matte-metallic duo eyeshadow stick, highlighting compact, liquid lipstick, and contour stick, the
Puma x Maybelline collection is made to last through the hardest workouts. This collection launches on February 8
th and is planned for an
online release first, then to stores like CVS and Walmart.
Makeup Revolution launched a slew of products this week, from foundations and concealers to palettes (all of the products are available on their site). First off, the
Fantasy Collection was launched! There are four parts to the
collection:
Angel,
Dragon,
Mermaid, and
Unicorn. Each collection contains an eyeshadow palette ($7), eyeliner ($5), lip topper ($5), and a liquid highlighter ($9).

Unicorn Dragon
Then MUR doubled down with three more
palettes, each retailing for $15. The three palettes are
Heartbeats,
Diamond Bright, and
Ocean’s Treasure.
Last but not least, the
Conceal and Define foundation and concealer
line expanded to 50 shades. Makeup Revolution originally launched 24 shades in September 2018 and fulfilled their promise to extend the line to accommodate almost every skin tone and undertone. You can grab the foundation for $12 and the concealer for $7.
Sleek Makeup teased their new highlighting palette on Instagram; the palette features four warm toned shades that work for each skin tone. The
Loveshook highlighting palette is limited edition and is now available on Look Fantastic’s
site for $13.50.
Kaleido Cosmetics finally launched their Diamond Foils! These individual shadows obviously give a foiled effect to the eyes but the formula is unlike anything on the market. There are 20 shades to choose from and they cost $6.50 each on Kaleido’s site.
Essence Cosmetics is teasing four palettes that are based on four cities: Rio, Paris, Sydney, and New York. There isn’t a lot of information about these palettes so be sure to subscribe for updates on these palettes.
Amor Us launched their most exciting palette yet, called
Masquerade. The palette has a demi-pressed formula to the glitters, boosting the shine.
Masquerade costs $16 and is available only on Amor Us’
website.

Bebella Cosmetics is a newbie to the Cosmetic Launch Roundup. This indie brand launched two palettes, Revolution and After Dark, on February 1st.. Each palette has 30 shades and costs $28. There is a bundle for $56 and both palettes are only available on Bebella’s site.
