Today (August 8th) BH Cosmetics launched their Take Me Back to Brazil: Rio Edition palette. The sister palette to their wildly popular palette of the same name (minus the Rio edition part), this Rio Edition contains all shimmer shades. The layout is exactly the same and honestly, I am not too thrilled about this palette. I feel that BH Cosmetics should have done half shimmer, half matte shades in their original palette. I will say that the Rio Edition packaging looks more appealing.

If you enjoy collecting special editions, there is a box set of both palettes and six glitter jars for $78 but if you only want one palette, they cost $18 each plus free shipping!
August 9th is a busy day. First we have Colourpop Cosmetics celebrating their 6 million Instagram followers with a surprise launch of six new Super Shock Shadows. These new eyeshadows will launch at 10am PST and will be available on Colourpop’s website.
Also launching tomorrow is the highly anticipated Wet N’ Wild Fire Dragon vs Ice Dragon collection. Based on the extremely popular TV show Game of Thrones, this new edition will contain 3 bronzers, 3 highlighters, 4 eyeshadow palettes, 6 metallic liquid lipsticks, 4 pigments, and 2 brushes. No official picture has been released but if you recall, I wrote about this collection after someone leaked a picture of a display from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
